The Innkeeper

My desire to own an Inn began many years ago when my family purchased a 200 year-old farmhouse. I loved the history and stories that came with the property. When a historic home in Hummelstown became available, my dream became a reality.

In essence I have been hosting people in my home for over three decades no matter where I have lived. Many of those visitors were from foreign lands such as the Philippines, England, Spain, Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan to name a few. My home has also been the site of numerous teas and dinner parties for diplomats and government officials. As you can see, I’ve really been in the hospitality field for over 25 years.

I have been involved with the start up of a local regional winery for the last 6 years. Our winery is definitely hospitality centered; we want every visitor to have a good experience and feel welcome. Very much like my Inn, I want all my visitors to feel welcome and relaxed. Sweet Arrow is a haven from the busy world.

I hope you visit soon and experience the Sweet Arrow Inn at the Historic Ricker House.
